The Nee Kee Wa Nan team organized a Community Information Session in Moosonee, held this past Friday. The session took place at the Moosonee Catholic, giving community members the chance to learn more about the Survivor-led initiative and the ongoing work of Nee Kee Wa Nan (“We’re Going Home”).
Throughout the session, the team shared updates on the initiative, answered questions, and spent meaningful time connecting with community members about the history of St. Anne’s Residential School, the research report, and the GPR search work underway. We’re grateful to everyone who came out, joined the conversation, and took part in this important journey with us.
