Waachiye everyone!
The Nee Kee Wa Nan team has just returned from their community visit to Attawapiskat! This visit focused on sharing updates about the initiative, including some of the Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) work completed in Fort Albany. The GPR team continues to process the data, which can take several weeks to a couple of months.
The Working Group will be continuing their community visits throughout August, with upcoming trips planned for Peawanuck, Fort Albany, Moosonee, Fort Severn, Kashechewan, Constance Lake, and Marten Falls. Nee Kee Wa Nan will also be attending Old Post Gathering in September!
