On November 27, the National Centre for Truth and Reconciliation (NCTR) shared 48 new St. Anne’s Quarterly Return records with the Nee Kee Wa Nan Initiative, covering the years 1960–1972. These documents represent a significant addition to our understanding of the history of St. Anne’s Residential School, spanning over 20 years.
These records will help deepen our knowledge of St. Anne’s history and provide essential details that will support ongoing truth-finding, Survivor testimony, and community healing. Each new document strengthens our collective efforts to preserve memory, honor Survivors, and acknowledge the realities of the past.
